A Turbulent Century for Music
The 20th century was a turbulent and exciting time for classical music. Variety was perhaps its most defining feature. Some composers challenged everything that had come before, others would simplify it and some just replicated it. There was not one defining genre that was universally popular. What some found inspiring, others found ugly. Or what some found beautiful, others found boring. But amongst this turbulence, there are those that have stood the test of time and have paved a way into the 21st century.
